Position Overview
The Accounting & Business Sr. Manager will play a pivotal role in building our finance organization and smooth operation of our dynamic operational environment. They will be responsible for managing financial tasks, including bookkeeping and payroll, month end close, budget planning and helping streamlining the onboarding process for new hires. Additionally, the role includes managing the company's assets, including our vehicle fleet and office equipment, to support our team's efficiency and growth.
This position is initially offered as a 90-day consulting role, with the potential for transitioning into a full-time position.
This is position is based in our Rockville, MD office .
What You’ll Accomplish
Bookkeeping: Maintain financial records, manage payroll, and handle AR/AP to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Reporting : Perform month end close and insert actuals into company financial forecast. Work directly with CEO on budget and FP&A process
Employee Onboarding: Streamline new hire setup with necessary accounts, IT equipment, uniforms, and business cards.
Asset/Resource Management: Oversee vehicle fleet, leases, equipment procurement, and cell phone contracts to optimize resource use and operational efficiency.
Who You Are
A CPA looking to join a growing company and grow quickly within the organization into a leadership position Being a CPA is preferred but not required to apply
Proficient in QuickBooks Online, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial management
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Highly comfortable with technology (Google Apps, Excel, Quickbooks, our proprietary Software)
Ability to learn quickly on the job
