Key Account Brokerage Operations Manager
This position reports to Sr. Manager. This position is required to travel interstate as well as intrastate to visit our key account customers (mainly TX and GA) and MTS office in GA (some OT may be required).
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities: Frequent customer visits
Reporting day-to-day notable external and internal events to the Department Manager.
Acknowledging, planning, and executing given assignments timely.
Overseeing day-to-day operations including but not limited to, timely internal and external reporting, timely FIFO load coverage, timely customer care, and internal billing instruction.
Stabilizing daily operations by overseeing all staff activities and customer requests.
Reviewing staff’s KPI and filling all voids to fulfill all aspect of department duties.
Generating and/or reviewing daily/weekly/monthly reports for internal and external purposes.
Assisting staff and management flexibly.
Experience: 10+ years of Domestics logistics distribution and transportation experience required.
5+ years of experience in managing several staff required.
Possess customer-focused business professional communication skills with transparency.
Possess business relationship development (sales & presentation) skills.
Possess a sense of urgency for unusual events and effectively and timely reports to customers.
Possess leadership and staff development skills.
Possess knowledge in domestic logistics, supply chain, and OTR (Over-The-Road) distribution.
FTL Focus/-well-versed across numerous industries.
Detail orientated, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
Bilingual in English and Japanese are plus (Japanese is not required).
