Who We Are : The Marketing team is responsible for catapulting Wayfair into the leading destination for all things home by building and evolving customer recognition and attachment to our brands, across all Wayfair stores, geographies, and our extended family of brands. This role is focused on educating, introducing & enrolling prospective business customers to our fastest growing consumer program, Wayfair Professional (B2B).
What You’ll Do : As a Prospecting Technical Analyst you will be responsible for monitoring & analyzing our core business KPIs (e.g., enrollments) to ensure success of cross functional channel efforts. This includes short term health checks & remedial investigations, and long term opportunity sizing, laddering directly back to company objectives. The work you own will inspire broader business innovation that drives direct business impact. This role has high visibility with frequent exposure to stakeholders across Storefront Engineering, Marketing, Machine Learning, and other business-critical teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented & analytically driven with strengths in defect-free analysis and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Weekly analysis of core business KPIs with an eye towards understanding the full-funnel impact of underlying drivers
Own the end-to-end funnel for our prospecting technology across stores & brands
Close partnership with engineering & machine learning teams to educate our targeting strategy combined with seamless site execution
Audit & maintain our prospecting tool box to ensure flawless customer journey
Build a testing strategy for onsite placement & email execution for prospective customers, including conducting statistical analysis to validate results and inform a rollout decision
Own quarterly business plan forecasting across our free marketing channels
Contribute positively to the team and Wayfair culture
What You’ll Need:
Experience with Python, SQL & GBQ
Analytical self-driven thinker who looks for (and finds) answers in the data
Strong storytelling abilities to contextualize data for broader work groups
Incredible attention to detail and highly organized
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Fast learner who can adapt to new processes and tools on the fly
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize projects and multitask to get things done
Collaborative team player with the ability to manage stakeholders across levels
