**THE ROLE**
A based in San Francisco, this individual will be responsible for category management and insight support related to the total portfolio of brands, including Method, Mrs. Meyers and Babyganics and focused on developing Category-First approaches to achieving organizational objectives.
**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
The manager will:
* Work with LSB sales planning and brand teams to create overarching category-focused, analysis / presentations to leverage with our customers through the field sales + field catman teams.
* Partner with field based catman resources to understand that groups objectives and identified opportunities to help empower and support the pursuit of those objectives.
* Have responsibility for the strategic management of the following categories:
+ All Baby-Care categories in support of the Babyganics Brand
+ Sun Care + Other Outdoor Categories in support of the Babyganics Brand
- This manager will want to have open lines of communication with category management resources associated with the balance of the SC Johnson sun care divisions to ensure some level of broad alignment.
+ Air Care categories in support of the Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Brand (or future brand expansion in the space)
* Manage and maintain standard organizational consumption reporting, including the ongoing development of cross-channel data integration.
* Will occasionally, in times of high demand, be asked to provide overflow customer specific support + presentations to support the field sales catman team
* Support and / or provide project management of custom research on projects related to their categories of responsibility.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**
**EXPERIENCE:**
* 5+ years experience in category management / analytics at a major syndicated data provider or established consumer packaged goods company
* Experience in partnering with / presenting to customers
* Towering technical skills, especially in Excel + Powerpoint
* Ability to communicate with data and information in a clear and concise (+fun) fashion
* Proficient with syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen)
* Experience with retailer shopper card data preferred (84*51, CVS ExtraCare etc)
* Solid experience in shopper insights concepts and metrics
* Experience managing / commercializing custom research
**REQUIREMENTS**:
* Strong communication, oral and visual presentation skills
* Strong organizational skills, with proven ability to prioritize and manage timelines and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
* Self-starter with a passion for learning and sharing
* Sense of humor, a positive outlook and a can-do attitude!
**EDUCATION:**
* 4 year college degree strongly preferred
