What you will do:

At Johnson Controls you'll be part of our diverse distributed team making an impact on our organization through your support of our Chief Operating Officer (COO)/Global Field Operations (GFO) Leader and our VP of Global Service & Parts. Our Executive Assistant position will offer you the opportunity to partner with our most senior leaders and support the vision of our organization. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, experienced, customer-focused, and has strong business acumen. You have a great track record of success supporting projects and C-Suite or Senior VP leaders. It is an exciting opportunity and a great time to join us!
In this role, you will be the main support associate to our Chief Operating Officer/Global Field Operations Leader and our VP of Global Service & Parts, representing $18 billion of field systems and service revenue in Johnson Controls. You will be ready to showcase your C-level task management, planning and executive assistant experience with particular focus on anticipating needs. You will be an integral part of our leadership team and will manage projects, set appointments, arrange travel, contribute to meetings and provide support services to our leaders.
How you will do it:
Project Management: Understand business strategy and context to manage and prioritize projects, including planning, budget administration, resource allocation, and execution
Create presentations and coordinate meetings
Travel and Event Planning: Coordinate all domestic and global travel and travel expenses and help to prepare event schedules and coordinate with parties as needed
Help to coordinate events which involve heavy communication with internal and external customers
Administration: Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders
With strong communication skills, gather and convey information pertaining to the executive team office and responsibilities
Submit invoices, expense reports, other documentation, and records maintenance and retention as required by Johnson Controls legal
External Customer Management: Coordinate with firms, organizations and individuals from outside the organization
What we look for:
Required 10+ years of education and business experience
Experience supporting C-suite (desired)
Demonstrated experience using a Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality
This role will be in office 5 days per week at our Glendale, WI office.
