Job Description
Patten Title Company is a well-established title company with offices in Austin, Houston and Las Colinas. We are currently looking for an Escrow Officer with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of title company experience. Duties will include the following but are not limited to:
Prepare CD/HUD Statements and other closing documents.
Collaborate with the title department to resolve title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, list pendants, etc.
Secure lender, seller and/or broker approval of loan closing documents.
Ensure all payoffs, taxes, and HOA are updated and collected
Address any inquiries from clients, sellers, buyers, agents, and Asset Management Companies professionally and in a timely manner.
Conduct closings with various customers: realtors, lenders, investors
Confirm closing dates, location, documentation, and funds due at closing with borrowers.
Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements 3 to 5 years of title company experience
Great knowledge base regarding investor business
Full time physical attendance is an essential function in the job
Strong customer service orientation

Excellent verbal and written communication
Problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
