Description

MUST HAVE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Duties:

Inside sales activities including: Generating new opportunities

Daily prospecting

Existing customers retain and grow revenues

Pursue and close sales leads

Responsible for attaining annual sales quota

Limited overnight travel (i.e., tradeshows, customer visits)

Portray AVO in a positive manner professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, tact

Work with Marketing Department: Reach more customers

Messaging with prior customers

Develop growth strategies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, Business/Engineering/Technical preferred

Prefer 3 or more years of sales experience in electric power industry (electrical maintenance, electrical safety)

4 or more years of professional sales experience in similar industry

Proven new business sales experience (hunter mentality)

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and effective use of CRM

Prefer working knowledge or experience with at least one of the following: Substations

Circuit breakers

Relay

Cable

Transformers

Additional Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work independently as well as within small teams.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task with ability to complete tasks on schedule.

Strong organizational skills.

External Contacts :

Customers and Vendors

Travel Requirements:

2-3 business days trips, typically planned 1-2 weeks in advance
