General Summary:
Works directly with the Meat Director, Stores Director and Meat Manager to promote and facilitate store support, sales, gross
margin and grow the meat deli management team though follow though, training and teaching.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Supervises the departments to ensure company standards are maintained
2. Oversees the departments operations to ensure specified quality standards and production
3. Efficiently trains department managers to follow opening and closing tasks are followed and completed in a timely
manner
4. Trains new department managers
5. Maximize sales and gross margin though schematic follow though
6. Achieves department sales and objectives
7. Minimizes costs of goods through effective merchandize purchasing and shrink
8. Ensures that accurate shrink reports are recorded
9. Ensures all product is accurately invoiced and shipped to stores
10. Teach and Coach meat manager in ordering and inventory controls
11. Ensures sanitations and food safety standards are achieved and followed
12. Assist in the correct department staffing
13. Builds and creates regular and seasonal displays and requests
14. Ensures retail standards are being met throughout shifts
15. Ensures all procedures, recipes and processes are followed
16. Performs daily sales control and generates daily and/or weekly POS reports
