General Description
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for assisting the Talent Acquisition Supervisor with leading the hiring and recruiting process, supporting the employee lifecycle, and fostering team culture. T he qualified candidate should have experience successfully developing and implementing proactive, efficient and recruitment strategies, policies, and procedures, to support business talent needs.
Tasks, Duties, Functions
Provides the highest level of talent acquisition services to its assigned departments.
Ability to recruit for high level executive and specialized positions, such as Leadership roles, Information Technology and Marketing positions. Typically carries requisitions that only have a few of qualified candidate applications.
Flexibility and ability to manage up to twenty requisitions and act urgently to respond to talent needs to support the business.
Mentor and point person within the recruiting team for others to ask questions act proactively to source active and passive candidates. Partner on requisitions that are for Professional and Management roles that often require unique skillsets.
Recommends and implements progressive interviewing techniques to improve hiring process and candidate experience. For example, curating screening, hiring manager interview and panel guides.
Taking the lead on, or being part of a team, delivering several key strategic recruitment projects (engagement, equality, diversity & inclusion, recruitment technology/digital adoption, etc.).
Identify high-quality candidates through the proactive sourcing of active and passive candidates via direct channels, job postings, social media, web sourcing, talent mapping, networking, and diversity & inclusion practices.
Possesses a strong network within community.
Ability to be a consultant to the business-advising and guiding on best practices and ways to innovate and continually assesses the effectiveness of the recruitment and onboarding processes and obtains feedback from new hires and hiring managers.
Utilize data to identify and communicate compensation and hiring trend. Establishes strategies to locate and secure candidates with hard to hire niche skill sets and develop individualized hiring plans that meet the nuanced expectations of each department.
Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position.
Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS:
Effective oral and written communication skills required to talk to applicants, managers, and outside contacts, on the telephone and in person, to conduct interviews and orientation, prepare correspondence, and constructively follow up on inquiries relating to this area.
Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, facsimile machine, and telephone.
Organizational Contacts & Relationships
INTERNAL: Hiring managers, Recruiters, HR Business Partners, Compensation team, Learning and Development, Executive leadership.
EXTERNAL:Temporary agencies, applicants, news media, applicant’s former employers, and technical training school instructors.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE:Typically, has at least 7 - 10+ years of experience in a recruiting role.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience in partnering with senior stakeholders, consulting on recruitment strategies, and driving efficient and effective outcomes.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
Corrected vision within the normal range.
Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
High telephone volume. Corrected hearing in the normal range required. A telephone device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
Minimal travel locally and statewide by car or public conveyance to recruit at other Golden 1 offices as needs arise. Overnight and evening schedules included.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: AIRS Certification or PHR/SPHR preferred.
