Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, high-potential Human Resources Director with wonderful people skills to lead the HR Department for Medici Virtual and Medici Onsite. We're looking to grow the company and team so we will need an individual who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and can focus and oversee all areas in Strategic Leadership, Risk Management/Compliance, Organizational Effectiveness, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Workforce Planning, and Employment. Additional responsibilities for the HR Lead will include supervising HR personnel, navigating employee grievances and disputes, supporting employee development, implementing HR strategies that support business objectives, forecasting staffing needs, mitigating risk, structuring benefits packages, and overseeing overall employment needs.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, knowledge of HR best practices, advanced organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. An exceptional HR Lead will be able to improve HR processes, implement strategies that support business growth, attract the best talent, and effectively promote the organization's values.

The position is based at our office located in the north side of San Antonio in TX. If the candidate resides in San Antonio, they will be required to work in the San Antonio office four days a week and spend one day a week in the Austin office; conversely, if the candidate resides in Austin, they will be required to work in the Austin office four days a week and spend one day a week in the San Antonio office.
Responsibilities
As the head of HR, you will lead manage and be accountable for the Human resource functions
Leads, manage and are accountable for the Human Resource functionInterpret information from external sources related to the business environment, industry practices, and development
Work with the accounting department by providing cost/benefit analyses, business plans, and projections to support the company's budget
Maintain responsibility for the company's compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters
Create/train internal and external health, safety, and privacy policies
Establish and develop policies that protect the organization and align with the company's values
Coordinate with Labor and Employment attorneys on all legal matters that expose the company to risk
Coordinate with the HR team to establish and maintain the organizational climate, focusing on team performance, employee development, operational efficiency, organization structure, and productivity
Develop annual compensation analysis and market projections for the CEO
Coordinate with the CEO and CFO to assess projected benefit offerings and adherence to the budget
Establish criteria for hiring, retaining, and promoting team members
Develop and implement team member retention strategies
Work with HR Team to administer post-offer employment activities (e.g., employment agreements, I-9 process, and background check process)

Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (Master's degree preferred)
Experience : Minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP (SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred)

$140,000 - $150,000 a year
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, and paid time off. Salary range: $140,000 - $150,000 per year with a bonus. We are open to discussing compensation during the interview process.
