As a leader, you and the team will drive compelling content and partner with sales as an installed base expert to help drive growth and customer retention.

Key job responsibilities

The Senior Install Base Mktg Mgr is responsible for defining the marketing strategy to drive further awareness, service expansion, account retention and engagement within existing customer accounts. This role is responsible for building cross sell, up sell and retention strategies, influencing teams to support growth adoption mechanisms and execute campaigns and programs needed to target customers at different phases of their journey with AWS. The goals of this role include driving further awareness and education of customers on AWS, generating high quality leads both in IT and Line of Businesses, helping sales build deeper customer relationships, growing usage of AWS solutions and delivering on account renewals. The right candidate will have a solid understanding of the cloud market and executive personas. Additionally, they will be able to implement a strategy that includes multiple touchpoints across marketing programs leading to cross sell and contract renewal. The person in this role works collaboratively with field marketing leadership, sales leadership, business development, and product marketing to design marketing initiatives, measure and report out on program effectiveness, and use data to make the right pivots in the strategy and plan. The ideal candidate will have a results-driven mindset, creative ideas, and a scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

Preferred Qualifications

Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
