Overview
Summary
The Business Development Representative is an entry level position with a clear career growth path. This position is part of a developmental program, designed to cultivate our next generation Sales Force. This role has an opportunity to learn business development skills, techniques and processes. This position will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating sales qualified leads. This position will also be required to contact prospects who have responded to campaigns, marketing events, websites, referrals, phone inquiries and have shown a high level of interest in ConvergeOne and the solutions and services we offer. As well as, being responsible for data entry and the integrity of all lead and customer data. A successful Business Development Representative will have an opportunity and promotion path to move to an Inside Cloud Account Manager position (ICAM).
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Understands the ConvergeOne BANT Qualification methodology (Budget, Awareness, Need & Timing)
Develops new business opportunities by driving awareness for the ConvergeOne portfolio, Cloud offerings, 5X4 core practices and strategic partners. By utilizing campaigns, regional events, digital tools (website, emails, social media)
Maintains customer engagement through phone calls, emails, social media, sending white papers, recorded webinars
Uses position thought leadership and differentiation
Nurtures and cultivates relationships by using our BANT methodology while clarifying timing, need, authority and budget
Finds sales qualified leads, declares and passes to Regional Vice President as well as Director, Sales Operations
Follows up with prospects and existing customers from field market events
Answers inbound sales calls from potential customers, obtains client information, answers questions, provides information and follow up as needed
Uses Microsoft Dynamics CRM to capture information regarding leads/customers, communication history, as well as facilitate lead flow and lead scoring
Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data when account information is incomplete to ensure data integrity
Works on data entry, management & maintenance to ensure data integrity, monitor data & process
Works with campaign manager to develop follow-up email templates and nurture streams
Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities Completes 40 Phone Calls/Emails/Social Media Contacts per day
Utilizes tools, such as; HubSpot, Salesforce, Lead Feeder, LinkedIn and Discover.Org
Converts sales qualified leads to sales accepted leads
Documents all activity and status of leads
Meets and exceeds monthly goals by delivering Sales Accepted Leads
Qualifications

Required Qualifications B.S./B.A in Business or Marketing preferred, but not required
Outstanding phone presence with the ability to create trust with prospective clients.
Self-motivated and competitive; driven to reach and exceed individual and team goals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn a lot quickly
Exceptional written communication and grammar is a must
Persuasive interpersonal sales skills with positive outlook
Strong computer skills in using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desired/Preferred Qualifications Knowledgeable in LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot
Preferably looking for Candidates that desire to be Field Sales in their careers.
