Corporate Accounting Manager

Job Description :
Responsible for the quarterly close process and monthly soft close, including Revenue Recognition under ASC 606, Equity Method of Accounting for Investments under ASC 323, Consolidations under ASC 810, Operating Leases under ASC 842, and other general book-keeping tasks
Assist in preparing quarterly unaudited financial statements and partner capital reports, and annual audited financial statements and footnotes, audit requests, and annual tax workpapers
Manage and supervise the Finance & Accounting department (8 members)
Mentor and train the Corporate Accounting team to create efficiencies in the close process, automate and streamline processes
Collaborate with FP&A to close faster and provide better reporting to management
Assist with other accounting functions and projects, as needed, including capital calls and distributions, income allocation, and systems implementations
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
CPA license required
5-7 years of relevant experience required
Fund or asset manager experience required
Strong organizational skills with incredible attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with other departments, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to a fast growing and changing environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Prior experience working with accounting software such as NetSuite and Concur is a plus
