We're partnering with a rapidly expanding apparel manufacturing company in search of an Account Executive to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to drive impact and meaningful contribution by creating new business, new customers and reward their performance through base plus commission. Can live remotely and be able to travel the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Identify an opportunity to generate sales to retailers across the country.
Knowledge of product, price point and have the knowledge to generate a profitable business. Would be responsible for maximizing our sales potential, crafting sales plans to add to existing sales
Develop new customers by establishing new distribution channels; explaining product potential to retailers; identifying possibilities for product updates, and new techniques.
Achieve growth and hit sales targets
Work with the costing team to determine target selling price and establish a healthy markup as well as hitting sales goals.
Salesperson would meet and strategize with the team and agree on what we plan to do.
Work closely with design and production teams.
Identify emerging market trends, business shifts, competition status and be in the know of emerging fashion trend
Qualifications
Proven to drive the sales from plan to shipping. Has a strong business sense and industry expertise.
Experience in Knits, Tees, Graphic Tees for Young Mens' Junior's, Children's.
Experience in working with Mass Market Retailers.
Ability to travel as needed to drive business and build accounts.
Positive, aggressive, and willing to generate and maintain key accounts.
At least 4+ years of proven sales experience and working knowledge of garment sales.
Must be computer literate in the use of Outlook, Word and Excel.
