The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) / Controller to join their dynamic, mission-driven organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial reporting and accounting operations, including the design and implementation of business processes related to the department's work. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organization's fiscal responsibility and sustainability, with a focus on both non-profit and for-profit accounting principles. The SVP, Controller will also oversee treasury functions, tax planning and compliance, payroll, financial audits, and internal controls, and must be adept at managing a high-performing team to meet the evolving needs of the organization.Candidates for the SVP, Controller position at the company should have a strong background in accounting, with a thorough knowledge of GAAP and a proven track record in financial management. Key responsibilities include planning and defining the scope of accounting operations, managing day-to-day accounting functions, consolidating business results, and analyzing financial statements. The role requires the ability to research and resolve technical accounting issues, as well as to ensure compliance with government reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to operational leadership, integrating the company's impact goals into accounting practices, and will be proactive in identifying and addressing new challenges as they arise.
