Senior Program Manager, Selling Partner Experience Science

Seattle, WA, United States

DESCRIPTION

Do you want to join an innovative team of scientists and product managers who use machine learning to help Amazon provide the best experience to our Selling Partners by automatically understanding and addressing their challenges, needs and opportunities? Do you want to create solutions using advanced algorithmic systems that are powered by state-of-art ML, such as Large Language Models, Computer Vision and Causal Modeling, to seamlessly engage with Sellers? Are you excited by the prospect of collaborating with science and technology teams across Amazon Stores, to create data backed solutions to solve real world problems? If yes, then you may be a great fit to join the Selling Partner Experience Science team.

Customer Trust and Partner Support (CTPS) is the organization that constantly makes high-judgment decisions across a wide breadth of constituents. We build and deliver services for Buyers, Sellers, Vendors and other customers. We ensure that Amazon is a safe and trustworthy place to shop and an amazing place for software developers to build a successful business, selling products. We support our many partners in this journey. We face constant trade-offs and competing objectives that we need to appropriately balance, while ensuring that actions are equitable. We have to do all of this at high scale, which only happens through technology and science. We are a large organization that leads innovation in many areas, so we also play a critical role in helping Amazon more broadly beyond our own goals.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for scoping development of the most advanced AI technology, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver products that will reshape how sellers do business on Amazon Stores. This role requires both business acumen and technical skills, engaging ML scientists, engineers, operational leaders and senior management. We are searching for a passionate Senior Program Manager, who will drive strategic programs end-to-end, from idea all the way through delivery.

A day in the life

The activities you will lead are highly impactful - managing the roadmaps and milestones, setting requirements and driving the development schedule, owning cross-team project statuses and communicating results to a broad audience, brainstorming new project ideas, initiating technical deep dives and engaging in problem solving, and organizing working sessions proactively to identify and mitigate roadblocks. This is a unique opportunity for qualified individuals to drive the entire life cycle of highly impactful, real-world ML applications, focused on use of advanced generative AI technology.

About the team
