MAXX Properties is looking for a Full-time, Temporary IT Support Specialist for an immediate opportunity for a minimum of 6 months (thought end of year), but with a possibility of longer term placement. The position would be on-site at our Purchase Corporate Office.
The role involves supporting our corporate and property site users to ensure efficient operation of all technology services. This position would be in the IT Department reporting to the VP, Information Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end-users via phone, email, video calls, and in-person and doing so in a warm and customer-first manner.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Assisting with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new computer systems and peripherals.
Managing and resolving support tickets in a timely manner, escalating issues as needed.
Performing routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, process audits, and system monitoring.
Maintain accurate records of all IT support activities and inventory.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong understanding of standard computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with some or all of the following a plus: Microsoft O365 admin, Active Directory, Teams, Office Suite, and Power Shell scripting
Network Admin experience a plus
2-5 years of IT Support/Technology Experience
