COMPANY DESCRIPTION Rancher Government Solutions (RGS) is specifically designed to address the unique security and operational needs of the U.C. Government and military as it relates to application modernization, containers, and Kubernetes.

Rancher is a complete open-source software stack for teams adopting containers. It addresses the operations and security challenges of managing multiple Kubernetes clusters at scale, while providing DevOps teams with integrated tools for running containerized workloads.

RGS supports all Rancher products with U.S. based American citizen with the highest security clearances who are currently supporting programs across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and civilian agencies.

POSITION SUMMARY Director of Inside Sales responsibilities include providing ongoing professional development for the Inside Sales staff, motivating the Inside Sales staff to achieve Inside Sales targets, and developing an effective step-by-step process of nurturing leads and converting them into clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Recruiting, training, and managing members of the Inside Sales Team.

Ensuring ISR Team competencies include a firm understanding of the Rancher Platform solution stack.

Collaborating with Marketing to triage and qualify incoming customer leads.

Competent within the Salesforce CRM Offering.

Ensuring Salesforce is up to date weekly across all territories within the Sales Organization.

Regularly evaluating the performance of the Inside Sales Team.

Responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to current Inside Sales practices and procedures as needed.

Being the point of contact for addressing and resolving Inside Sales related issues.

Forecasting of pipeline metrics to Executive Leadership including Sales Leadership.

Other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 5 years leading an Inside Sales Team with proven performance and specific revenue goal achievement.

Executive level oral/ written communication and presentation skills and ability to interact with all levels or organizations.

Experienced with SalesForce (CRM Tool).

Relevant competitive knowledge, including industry, technologies and product offerings, and evolving technologies.

Good understanding of Gov acquisition process.

Ability to coach Inside Sales Team on triaging leads and the process of turning those leads into qualified opportunities.

Strong analytical and goal-oriented mindset.

Advanced business experience and ability to create strategies, guidelines, and objectives and implement them while driving business growth and creating data-driven reports.

BS/BA or equivalent.
