Job Description

At OneDigital, this position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of IT technology projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.The position collaborates with other IT departments on functional, technical capabilities, and solutions to ensure business needs are met and are in alignment within the overall IT strategy. This position will support the IT Infrastructure and Business Solutions teams and report into the IT Strategy & Governance team. The IT Technical PM should be a confident employee and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This individual will also be accountable for coordination of IT project technical requirements, determining impact assessments and overseeing a project from planning to implementation.

Location:

You must report into the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week from 8am-5pm EST

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Partner with IT Leadership, IT Infrastructure and Business Solutions teams to identify project deliverables, develop project scope, and manage resources and activities to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget while delighting our customers.

Manage multiple projects, with interdependencies in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and a desire to 'Get Stuff Done'.

Produces detailed timeline for each project and implements effective project control by monitoring the progress of the project and reporting the status.

Identify project risks and set timelines to meet customer expectations.

Drive project issues through to resolution using the methodology established for the department.

Ensure the finished project is supportable through frequent life-cycle communications with the operational team that will ultimately run the systems and processes being implemented.

Build a structured approach to successfully complete the project in the allotted time.

Develop written detailed project plans that are understandable and match the capacity and ability of the organization while meeting the goals of the sponsor. Effectively communicate those plans with all project team members and leadership constituents.

Determine the personnel, capital resources, equipment, and tools needed to complete the project (i.e., know how to estimate). Proactively manage resource and scheduling issues.

Manage change control procedures.

Influence effectively between the Business Owners, Project Managers (PMs), and Operations Teams to support delivery, risk mitigation, change management, and issue resolution.

Effectively manage and lead the successful delivery of the technology projects and requests from within various phases of delivery, across the entire lifecycle of Delivery within project timeline and budget.

Partners closely with IT teams, understanding their plans and initiatives. Able to define projects vs. normal support work (BAU/KTLO) and develop project scope and plans.

Very strong understanding of current technology concepts with the proven ability to successfully deliver technical projects, migrations, and application implementations, among other projects in a fast paced, high availability, ITIL environment.

Represents team recommendations to Senior Management, demonstrate influence over governance bodies, and communicate effectively via formal presentations.

Builds strong relationships with business and technology leaders. Understands business area opportunities and challenges, process or system impacts to all related business or systems areas when implementing recommended solution to obtain business objectives.

Provides ongoing status updates on project progress, risks, change management and issue resolution. Leads issue identification, tracking, escalation, and resolution documentation. Monitors risk events before becoming issues and potential roadblocks.

Coordinates purchasing activities and assistance for infrastructure and application related projects.

Act as a conduit between IT and business stakeholders.

Provides technical consulting and execution on projects requiring technology services.

Ensure proper and consistent communication to clients and internal leadership aligning with policy and procedures, SLAs, metrics reporting and contractual agreements.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

Working knowledge of some: Microsoft platform, Windows servers and clients, Windows OS

Upgrades, Data networking, Security

Experience delivering iterative solutions using both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.

Proven, successful experience in managing multiple, concurrent, technical projects.

Understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

Financial acumen and with experience in defining/managing IT project budgets.

Demonstrated planning skills and a proven ability to lead teams in a multi-project environment.

Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio and Powerpoint)

Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.

Excellent interpersonal communications skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels.

Experience at working both independently and in a cross functional team-oriented environment is essential.

Ability to quickly learn and use new complex technical concepts and resolve issues with them in a rapidly changing environment.

Ability to discuss complex technical concepts to the technical staff, stakeholders, and business executives in a simple straightforward manner.

Communicates technical issues, impact, and risk mitigation strategies in business terminology that can be communicated to and understood by non-technical.

Ability to facilitate solutions in a complex IT technology and business environment and able to adapt quickly to change.

Ability to assess and deliver appropriate level of detail and comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization.

Understanding of technology concepts, trends, and capabilities

Has an ability to understand people and technologies with the ability to know what questions to ask to guide someone through solving a problem (without knowing the subject matter)

Communicative and social, assertive, and enthusiastic

Must be able to facilitate discussion and discover alternatives or different approaches.

Education, Training and Experience:

4-6 years of experience in managing IT technology projectsand large-scale projects

PMP Certification highly desired
