Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Outreach Coordinator to join our marketing communications team. The Outreach Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning and executing outreach activities to advance prevention and treatment of substance use prevention and mental health awareness. The ideal candidate should have experience working with federal agencies or organizations addressing prevention and treatment in substance use and mental health issues. The Outreach Coordinator will work closely with the project team to ensure effective engagement with target audiences and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Communications, Social Work, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in outreach coordination or community engagement, preferably in the substance use and mental health field, with experience working with federal agencies or organizations.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Develop and implement outreach strategies and plans to engage target audiences, including community organizations, stakeholders, and diverse communities.
Coordinate outreach events, workshops, and community engagement activities to advance prevention and treatment of substance use and mental health awareness.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and community partners to support outreach efforts.
Collaborate with the marketing communications team to ensure messaging and materials are tailored for diverse audiences.
Track and report on outreach activities, engagement metrics, and community feedback to measure the effectiveness of outreach efforts.

Demonstrated experience in coordinating outreach activities and engaging with diverse communities.
Experience working with federal agencies or organizations addressing prevention and treatment of substance use and mental health.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Communications, Social Work, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills to plan and execute outreach events.
