About You

You are highly-driven and extremely confident in your ability to reach, educate and close on high-value B2B contracts with medium enterprises and expanding SMEs. You know the ins-and-outs of B2B tech sales intuitively and have no qualms about paving your own way forward if the price is right. You appreciate merit, possessing the ability to prove value and drive success.

You are excited at the prospect of founding the sales arm of an AI startup - with all the responsibilities of leadership that will involve as team grows with your success. The chance to show off your skills, build processes and establish reputation in this space are attractive for your long-term career path.

Ideal candidate will also possess moderate familiarity with actual software programming, deep tech industry trends and the ability to translate between client business executives and our engineering nerds effectively. Revealing the full value and ROI of our offerings may be significantly difficult without the ability to understand nuanced topics at a high level. We can help bridge this gap for the right candidate.

About the position

The Director of Inside Sales will be the seed of our sales workforce with potential for promotion to VP and eventually a seat as a board officer. This position will be paid substantial commissions on projects $1M - $20M USD.

Developing new sales funnels, prospecting and closing will be critical to the early stage. Once a segment is developed and ready to be reproduced by other sales agents, you will work with our close partners for sales and business development.

Additionally you will constantly build channel partner relationships in the course of networking. Some channel partners are more open to setting clear terms than others; when terms are set you will also be eligible for recurring profit share in that channel.

While this position is initially commission only; at a specific level of success you will become eligible for base salary and other benefits. 3 and 5 year vested stock options are additionally available to this position.
