Job Details
Our thriving real estate investment and development firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Transactional Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and real estate law, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support to attorneys and executives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and financing documents
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various corporate and real estate legal matters
Maintain and update corporate records, minutes, and resolutions related to real estate investment and development projects
Coordinate and assist with due diligence processes for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
Assist in the preparation of materials for investment committee meetings, investor presentations, and other corporate events
Manage and maintain corporate compliance programs and policies related to real estate investments and development projects
Liaise with outside counsel, lenders, and other external parties on legal matters
Provide general administrative support to the legal department as needed
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification from an accredited program
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate transactional paralegal, preferably with exposure to real estate law and transactions
Strong knowledge of corporate law, real estate law, and general business principles
Familiarity with real estate investment and development concepts and terminology
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with entity management software and real estate transaction management software is a plus
