THE OPPORTUNITY
College Hill is looking for a Sales Executive to join our team. The role can be 100% remote within Washington or Idaho State, or can be based in our Pullman, WA office. It is a full-time role that will require adhering to a schedule and maintaining ongoing communication with your department. Strong networking, organization and communication skills are especially important for this role, allowing our internal team to support you and your clients quickly and efficiently.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking a savvy salesperson with exceptional networking, communication, and organizational skills for this role. While prior experience in the custom merchandise and promotional products industry is not mandatory, it is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder who genuinely believes in the value of our products, designs, and services. They should be capable of articulating our offerings confidently and knowledgeably to both new leads and existing clients. A strong desire to learn and immerse oneself in our industry will undoubtedly contribute to success in this role.
THE ROLE
In this role, your responsibilities will encompass sourcing new leads, nurturing existing leads, and servicing and growing client accounts. You'll have the invaluable support of an in-house design department and a dedicated client services team, which will oversee and process orders that you bring in. This collaborative environment ensures that you have the resources and assistance needed to excel in your role and deliver exceptional service to our clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals, with a minimum target of $600K for the year. This objective underscores our commitment to growth and success in the coming months.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Sourcing leads
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Identifying areas for account growth
Meeting monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals
Setting appointments
Making qualifying sales calls
Managing sales cycle to close new business
Delivering top-notch customer service
Communicating with clients to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed
Handling a large volume of customer inquiries
Continuing to learn and study the industry by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations and networking
Sourcing the best promotional products and apparel vendors to increase the profit
Monitoring and analyzing customers' usage of our products and services, developing a plan to grow identified key accounts
THE QUALIFICATIONS
Previous sales experience required
Previous experience in the custom merchandise and/or promotional products space highly preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and prioritizing responsibilities
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Ability to communicate, present and influence effectively
Self-starter with strong self-leadership skills who can deliver on a schedule without being micromanaged
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Mac OS experience a plus
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
