Citizens of Humanity is seeking an experienced Account Manager for Specialty Stores. The position is based in our Los Angeles showroom, managing a selection of our West Coast accounts. This individual will be instrumental in managing, maintaining, and growing these accounts for Citizens of Humanity, working directly with independent specialty stores along the West Coast. The ideal candidate will possess a track record of identifying sales opportunities, executing account-specific action plans, and exhibiting robust analytical and time management skills. Building and nurturing client relationships, driving sales through training, and engaging in brand-building activities will be key components of this role.
Responsibilities:
Present collections in market and build assortments that meet our wholesale strategy, brand representation in terms of product assortment and positioning.
Provide quarterly and/or seasonal product training and impactful store visits to accounts.
Demonstrate strong communication and robust analytic ability.
Manage showroom and sample inventory effectively.
Analyze weekly shipping reports to understand flow of goods; actively monitor receiving the goods in store.
Order entry/order confirmation in NuORDER.
Help coordinate LA Market (including Appointment bookings, sample movements, model coordination, showroom preparation)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college ideal.
At least 3+ years of wholesale experience within the fashion industry, with established relationships in the contemporary market.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills complemented by analytic, organizational, and presentation abilities.
A solid grasp of retail mathematics, including concepts such as mark-up, sell-through, open-to-buy (OTB), and gross margin.
Highly organized, meticulous, self-motivated individual.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
An energetic, positive, and helpful demeanor is essential.
Compensation:
Salary range: $75,000-80,000/year based on experience
Quarterly Clothing allowance

This position is based out of our West Coast Showroom located in Los Angeles.
