Position Overview

Global Atlantic Financial Group, Inc. has a unique opportunity for a highly motivated energetic individual interested in continued career growth to join our team as a SVP, Divisional Sales Manager (DVP). The Divisional Sales Manager will report to the National Sales Manager of Global Atlantic. They will have direct responsibility for managing a sales team of 15 -20 individual annuity wholesalers who will be driving fixed, fixed indexed annuity, long-term care (LTC), RILA and alternatives sales through bank, independent, wirehouse and regional broker dealers.

The DVP is responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing a team of ~15 annuity wholesalers

Builds a high-performance team and culture by holding wholesalers accountable for sales production and other specified performance expectations

Manages sales plans, expense management and activity management across the division

Identifies wholesaler strengths and opportunities for development and provide coaching on actions

Work with wholesalers on day-to-day activities and creative sales ideas

Continuously analyzes division to assess market changes, trends or relationship needs

Travels a minimum of 80% of the time. Travel includes ride-alongs with wholesalers and to internal and external events

Meets agreed to sales goals for the assigned division

Participates as a key stakeholder in the development and execution of strategic initiatives that are focused on driving top line growth with our partner distribution organizations

Works closely with the other Divisional Sales Managers, National Account Managers, Sales Support and Marketing teams to drive key sales, marketing, and product campaigns

Establishes strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Product

Partners with the Distribution leadership team to develop and implement sales management tools & best practices

Manages an ethical and compliant division based on company and regulatory standards

Maintains understanding of key account profiles which includes their size and scope, product mix, trends, and challenges

Stays current on competitor intelligence which includes market trends, product ideas and performance, compensation and incentives, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and / or equivalent work experience

Expert knowledge of fixed index annuities, RILA, LTC, and alternatives

10 years or more of financial services industry experience

5 years or more of sales management experience

Securities and state life insurance licenses (series 7 and 63) and have or acquire FINRA Series 24

History of demonstrating strong ethics and compliance mindset

Strong understanding of distribution opportunities within division

Strong written and verbal communication skills including excellent presentation and public speaking skills

Demonstrated competency in technology, data, and strategic mindset

Must demonstrate sound judgement and decision-making ability

Excellent presentation skills

Strong organization skills

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office.

Global Atlantic's base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic's total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.

The base salary range for this role is

$126,000—$240,000 USD
