About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Emerging Practices to lead the professional services technical team. This role is pivotal in driving the implementation and delivery of technical solutions for professional services projects, with a focus on emerging technologies related to digital transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing the methodology of implementation, defining best practices, and ensuring the delivery of best-in-class, cost-effective solutions. Key responsibilities include managing a diverse technical team, forecasting and taking P&L responsibility, and driving additional implementation efficiency through automation and standard deliverables. The VP will also be tasked with managing customer escalations, and improving awareness of and proactively managing risks within the practice.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in digital transformation professional services, with a proven track record of successfully delivering software solutions to Fortune 500 companies. They should possess at least 10 years of experience in managing global and remote teams for professional services, and have the ability to work with technical resources from both within the company and third parties. Critical leadership capabilities for this role include strategic thinking, collaborating and influencing, and driving results. The candidate should be a hands-on senior leader with the presence to engage in high-level customer communications, from VP to C-level. The role requires a leader who can provide strategic vision, manage multiple projects and customers, and is committed to the values of the company, including a proactive approach to diversity and inclusion.
