Vice President of Growth Marketing role:
The Vice President of Auctane Growth Marketing will be responsible for leading a high performing marketing engine, including departments of performance marketing, advertising and brand media experts, lifecycle marketing, event marketing, and partner marketing, aligning talent and workflows that attracting prospects and customers across all of Auctane’s B2B and B2C offerings in all regions we operate around the world. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a high-growth company, responsible for optimizing a meaningful discretionary marketing budget, in a fast-moving dynamic marketplace. This executive will also mentor and motivate managers and individuals in the marketing team to solve complex problems to shape and bring to life innovative growth initiatives through quick experimentation and new technologies and tools, to help lead Auctane to its growth objectives.
Primary Objectives:
Design and lead implementation of growth strategy by using paid and owned media channels - both online and offline including TV and Audio advertising - to grow new user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention in a scalable and efficient way
Partner closely with Product & Portfolio Marketing, Campaigns Marketing, Sales, Operations & Analytics, and Creative teams to execute campaigns and solutions that drive business growth
Lead rapid experimentation of new channels, campaigns, creative, incentives, and approaches for the purpose of building scalable demand generation
Lead media efforts across integrated campaigns that span both brand and performance to attract prospects that convert to become customers, optimizing return on advertising spend
Partner deeply with the creative team to optimize the operating model and tools for creative development and iteration
Recruit and lead a team of skilled growth marketers to drive marketing strategy, campaign ideation, execution, and analysis, continually raising the bar on technical and analytical skills
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization including product management, sales, portfolio marketing, operations, communications, engineering, and data insights
Report and optimize key findings to the executive team on a recurring basis
Be an industry thought leader and take part in shaping the future of growth marketing roles
Raise the bar in best practice implementation at Auctane, serving as a role model for marketers, managers and executives across the organization.
What We Are Looking For:
Demonstrated track record at the Vice President level of Performance Marketing and/or Acquisition Marketing, both B2C and B2B, including managing a large budget
Experience in successfully building and executing growth strategies for both hyper-growth and scaled companies across both B2B and B2C; consumer tech or tech-enabled consumer company experience is required
Shapes planning and execution of multiple, complex marketing programs, integrated campaigns, brand transitions, experimentation, and ROI monitoring
Strong marketing instincts and proven track record of shaping and executing on user growth strategies
Deep analytics background and a high degree of proficiency with data tools
Ability to synthesize, analyze and interpret data (including KPI reports) and transfer into actionable steps
Experience in brand media and ability to lead large brand media buys including TV and Audio advertising also highly preferred
Manages direct teams and managers, as well as cross-functional teams and brings a proven track record of performance optimization
Strong leadership presence; serves as a senior leader within a company, influential with a diverse group of stakeholders and can create buy-in with both technical and operational teams organization
Deep understanding of Marketing Technology and media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Google, etc.)
Thrives in a fast-paced growth environment
What will Make You Stand Out:
Bachelor's Degree required. Degrees in Business, Marketing, or Finance
MBA or other higher level education degrees are ideal
Exceptional candidates will also display attributes to continue their career growth into future larger roles
Successful record of expanding responsibility including vice president of marketing roles
Minimum of 10 years' experience in marketing leadership or related function
