The Margin Strategy and Investment Optimization (MSIO) team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft's cloud-first strategy. We are looking to hiring a Senior Finance Manager - Energy to assist us in this critical work.

The Cloud Infrastructure Strategy, Planning & Delivery (CISPD) team's charter is to build out and operate Microsoft's cloud infrastructure while driving down unit cost of capacity, ensuring cloud services achieve gross margin growth and share expansion. As a crucial member of the team you'll provide financial leadership supporting long-term, strategic energy initiatives across our worldwide portfolio of data centers.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field* OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field* OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and analysis. Experience in influencing decisions and developing strategic plans.* Proven ability to drive projects and analysis to closure in a collaborative and matrixed environment* Expertise in financial planning and analysis, including: analysis, forecasting, planning, reporting, and developing financial models.* Solid written and verbal communications translating financial analysis and insights into meaningful and actionable business communications and recommendations

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.

This role requires a high degree of agility and skill in navigating multiple stakeholder requirements while enabling the accelerated growth aspirations for the business in market environment.
