Strategic Data Advisor

As a Strategic Data Advisor, you will play a critical role in interfacing with sponsors to gather requirements, recommend solutions, provide strategic guidance, support acquisition planning, and ensure successful project execution. Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels are critical to successfully performing this function.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide all-source analysis or data science subject matter expertise in support of government sponsors.
Analyze commercially available datasets in alignment with government missions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, understanding their mission needs, translating them into actionable project plans, and aligning them to commercially viable solutions.
Coordinate requirement-gathering engagements to identify sponsor needs and recommend tailored solutions.
Utilize data analysis to inform decision-making and provide insights that drive project success.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Support cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Prepare and deliver briefings to senior leaders, articulating project progress, challenges, gaps, and recommendations.
Monitor project performance to identify gaps or deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Maintain strong sponsor and end-user relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Project Management, or related fields. Demonstrable experience is acceptable in lieu of a formal degree.
5+ years of experience leading analytic product development, providing mission support, or a related role.
Experience in gathering requirements, recommending solutions, and managing complex projects.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Exceptional communication skills, with experience briefing and interacting with senior leaders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends relevant to the mission area.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
TS/SCI clearance preferred.
