Job Description Job Description Description ORBIS is seeking an experienced Strategic Operations Advisor to lead program evaluation activities for a client in the US Intelligence Community. The Strategic Ops Advisor will have the opportunity to demonstrate intellectual agility, all source analysis, and research acumen by leading data collection and data analysis activities to produce key performance insights. Further, the Consultant will lead the implementation of recommendations when they are adopted by the customer. This project features the opportunity to interact with a wide range of key stakeholders, including those at senior levels. This is an exciting opportunity for an intellectually curious, energetic, data-savvy consultant to work on a project with real impact helping our client develop ways to understand and improve performance of activities that support delivery of our customer’s mission.
Key Responsibilities Consult with teammates and clients on the development, prioritization, and implementation of process improvement and program evaluation tasks.
Prepare visual presentations of data and analysis.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership based on research plans, activities, findings and recommendations.
Brief senior level customers on research plans, activities, findings and recommendations.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in a consulting role in the IC.
Master’s degree in business, social science, or behavioral science preferred but not required for this position.
U.S. Citizenship
Requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an analyst, targeting officer, technical targeter, desk officer, operations officer, or reports officer within the sponsor's organization or other relevant organization(s) in the Intelligence Community
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Excellent oral presentation and briefing skills
Knowledge of and experience in the fundamentals of all-source intelligence analysis
Familiarity with the customer’s report writing standards
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow-through and manage status reporting, scheduling, and project communications
High degree of personal integrity
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, juggling concurrent tasks and meeting deadlines
Experience deploying strategic communications
Proficiency with software and databases used in support of research and analysis for the U.S. Government
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
