POSITION SCOPE The primary role of them Construction Project Manager is to actively maintain and monitor projects for the Alamo Plan Directors to keep projects running smoothly. This may include managing internal and external reporting, assisting with billing reviews, managing deadlines and workflow, and scheduling meetings and appointments. DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain and monitor project Designs, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures. Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings as assigned. Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings. Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings. Ensure project deadlines are met. Provide administrative support. Undertake project tasks as required. Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members. Assist Alamo Plan Directors with creation of a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective. Monitor contract deliverables Assist in creating internal and external reporting material Work with accounting/finance department to ensure smooth billing processes related to capital projects. Create and manage funding requests from various sources. Attend meetings as requested Provide additional project coordination and administrative support, as requested.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in business administration or related fields, preferred.Familiarity with project management, scheduling and basic accounting principles required.Five+ years of equivalent experience in related fields, including complex project management work reliant on strategic planning and deliverable execution.Must be proficient in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint)Exceptional attention to detail.Ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who excels at working in a dynamic and changing environment.Strong interpersonal, strategical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage and/or contribute to a high volume of complex tasks and prioritizing workflow and a wide range of projects at any given time in a fast-paced office environment.Strong team-orientation and professional attitude.Experience with historic preservation, civil engineering, and landscaping preferred.Experience with public projects.
