Construction Project Manager

Search Construction Group, LLC is currently seeking a Project Manager.
Construction Project Management experience is required.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the CEO, the Project Manager develops, coordinates, implements, and manages all facets necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the quality specified. The PM provides leadership and serves as the liaison between project team members to promote the interest of both the business and clients in all matters, as well as demonstrate the characteristics of a mid-level leader. The PM is the primary leader for the construction project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENTS
Schedule
Assist in managing bids and projects from pre-bid to post-award.
Create and manage project budget for all assigned projects.
Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP package.
Conduct project meetings, while setting milestones and formulating reports.
Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders and approving vendor invoices.
Perform project scheduling; ensure project quality control and establish overall project organization.
Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations teams throughout the life of the project.
Build, foster and enhance owner, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
Manage all aspects of assigned construction projects.
Manage, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
Report progress of projects and budgets in regular meetings with management
Manage the closeout process efficiently.
Quality Construction costs, estimating, purchasing, and scheduling.
Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, technical drawings, specifications, scope of work and project schedule.
Safety Ensure all assigned project personnel, subcontractors, and vendors adhere to all required project safety policies and procedures and enforce these policies as required.
Management Assist in sequencing of field operations, staging of materials and resources.
Manage emails and Outlook folders, hard copy files, etc.
Work with municipalities and utility providers for service installation and inspections.
Communicates with the Project Superintendent daily to discuss the project status and any problems that arise.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar field preferred with a minimum of five years of experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing the construction of construction projects with stable employment history and proven track record.
Knowledge of site work, utility infrastructure, structural building, mechanical and interior finishes required.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Procore
Effective oral communication and writing skills.
Knowledge of construction principles and techniques.
Ability to problem solve, forward think, and plan ahead.
Driver's License Required: Yes
Other Requirements: A comprehensive understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
Proficient in reading and understanding architectural and engineering drawings.
First Aid training.
