Position: IT Business Analyst / IT Product Owner
Duration: Long-term, renewing contract
Hybrid in Indianapolis OR 100% Remote
Requirement Elicitation : Proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements from Business Product Owners and Business Process Owners using techniques such as interviews and workshops.
Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, developers, and other team members.
User Story Writing : Ability to write clear and concise user stories that capture the needs of end-users and stakeholders.
Product Backlog Management : Experience in managing and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the needs of the business and aligns with the delivery capability and capacity.
Stakeholder Management : Skill in managing relationships with various stakeholders, including business users, other business analysts, and development teams, to ensure alignment and buy-in.
Agile Methodologies : Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including experience in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions using various analytical techniques.
Technical Aptitude : Basic understanding of software development principles and technologies.
Documentation Skills : Proficiency in documenting requirements, user stories, and other validation documentation using tools like Jira and HP ALM.
Testing and QA : Understanding of software testing principles and experience in working with QA teams to ensure that developed solutions meet the specified requirements. Including, if needed, authoring/modifying test scripts, executing test scripts and/or approving executed test scripts.
Time Management : Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Conflict Resolution : Skill in resolving conflicts and managing disagreements within the team or between stakeholders, fostering a collaborative working environment.
Customer Focus : Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of customers and end-users, ensuring that the final product delivers value and meets their expectations.
Domain Knowledge : Understanding of the pharmaceutical clinical trial process, including knowledge of relevant technologies, trends, and regulations is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
Technology Knowledge : Experience with and knowledge of Veeva Vault products, particularly Vault Clinical or CRM, and/or SIP is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
