Design and program PLC and HMI based control systems. Have a working knowledge of low and medium voltage power systems. Have experience in control system design integration with electromechanical devices and instrumentation (selection, configuration & calibration). Lead factory acceptance tests to demonstrate design and programming has met project specifications. Understanding of standard communication protocols TCP/IP, Modbus. Support the sales department with engineering sales requests (custom designs, renders, specifications, installation drawings etc.). Support the operations department with bill of materials, shop aids, schematics, inspection reports, and training. Support the service department with maintenance, and repair of equipment and field installations. Administer engineering procedures such as engineering change notices (ECN) and corrective action reports (CAR). Participate in the weekly and global engineering meetings and ensure that agreed upon actions are initiated and met. Have a high standard of documentation control per our ISO9001:2015 quality standard. Technical skills we require from you……
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Science Engineering. Advanced PLC ladder logic and HMI programming. Proficiency with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Minimum 1+ years related experience in design, development, programming, and field commissioning experience. Excellent documentation and technical writing for product manuals, work instructions, and troubleshooting. Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, & Excel. Personal skills we require from you……
Outstanding organization and time management skills. Ability to prioritize your work and the teams to meet tight deadlines. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous custom manufacturing experience. Lean manufacturing experience. Experience with airflow calculations per applicable code (ASHRAE 170, 62.1 or state/local codes. Basic understanding of HVAC & refrigeration equipment AHU, FCU, VRF, VAV, Chillers. SolidWorks or similar design software. Finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics. ISO9001:2015 experience. Microsoft Excel Visual Basic. SolidWorks flow simulation.
