Responsibilities:
Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees.
Develop warehouse operations systems to increase efficiency and automation throughout the facility.
Oversee daily operations including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, and floor productivity.
Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary. Control and manage inventory and logistics.
Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
Train and manage warehouse staff, monitor work and ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment.
Keep track of warehouse performance by using operational metrics and KPIs
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures, in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Communicate with other departments to ensure shipments are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
5+ years of warehouse management experience in Industrial Equipment industry
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with ERP systems, Google Suite and other basic computer skills
Experience managing, coaching and developing operational team
Compensation : $70,000-$75,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications .
