**Job Summary and Qualifications**

+ Serves as the direct supervisor for the Progressive Care Unit.

+ Organizes safe and effective care of the patient, collaborating with the Director, physicians, technicians, and allied health practitioners.

+ The Manager is responsible for assisting with the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit(s).

+ The Manager coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit, which supports the safe and efficient delivery of care.

+ The Manager implements Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures and assists with the financial management of the units.

**What qualifications you will need:**

**Education/Skills:**

+ BSN required.

**Experience:**

+ Preferred 3 years minimum of clinical and/or supervisory experience in Critical Care.

**Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications:**

+ Registered Nurse License eligible to practice in the State of Texas required.

+ Current BLS required, ACLS required from HCA approved vendor.

+ Specialty Certification is preferred and must be obtained within the first year of employment.

+ Professional Nursing Organization Membership is required.
