Litigation Paralegal_

Dallas

**Description**

Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a Litigation paralegal with prior trial experience and a minimum of three (3) years of paralegal experience.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

+ Prepare and summarize case related materials including document productions and case chronologies;

+ Assist with the preparation of court filings, including proofreading and assembling of exhibits and appendices;

+ Indexing, tracking, and controlling exhibits and other materials at depositions and at trial;

+ Assist with reviewing documents for relevance and privilege according to established guidelines and criteria;

+ Summarizing depositions and other transcripts;

+ Working closely and directly with attorneys and clients during all phases of litigation;

+ Prepare deposition, mediation and trial exhibits (electronically and paper form) for use by the case team;

+ Conduct internet research; and

+ Provide excellent client service to all team members.

**ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:**

+ Other related duties, as assigned.

+ Annual billable hour requirement – 1,400

**QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):**

**Education:**

+ BA or BS degree strongly preferred.

+ Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate with a minimum of 3 years of professional services firm or in-house legal Department experience required.

**Experience:**

+ Three years of professional work experience (law firm, preferred). Previous work experience in a law firm or other client service environment is a plus.

**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:**

+ Excellent PC skills, including but not limited to proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.

+ Experience with Adobe PRO/Nuance PDF.

+ Strong time management skills.
