Job Details Description
Job Responsibilities:
Oversees online presence for all properties including websites, social media channels, online review sites and other channels. Maintains best practices on all channels, including analytics, SEO and other performance tools.
Assist in developing marketing strategies, including social strategy, email content, press pitches, and influencer marketing.
Lead monthly marketing meetings with hotel, restaurant, and bar teams to ensure their needs are met, on brand and within budget for all collateral, event, digital, PR, photography, room promotions and more
Develop and manage a content/social media calendar receiving approvals from the Content Director and attending social planning meetings, as well as handle community management across property profiles using BH provided messaging where applicable
Track Marketing budget and initiatives in a yearlong tracker, as well as produce monthly marketing memos
Ensure open lines of communication with staff, all departments, and upper management via email, Basecamp, in meetings, etc.
Manages property photography and video libraries and strategy, coordinates and oversees photo shoots, and provides backup content as needed.
Lead communication with Bunkhouse art team on project managing all collateral needs requested by the hotel and hotel outlets (operational, event, menu updates, etc.)
Manage all hotel website updates and audit the website regularly, as well as make request SEO updates
Work in tandem with the sales team to ensure they have the collateral they need, and request through the Bunkhouse art team
Assist in PR needs, including press stays, coordinating room drops, gathering press quotes and more
Manage basic accounting duties as it relates to submitting invoices for event partners or photographers
Oversees management and storage of all marketing, files, materials and reporting tools.
Assists in market research related to all new development projects (market studies)
Assists in special projects and provides backup copywriting support as needed.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of co-workers and sister property staff
Ability to create documents in Excel and Word
Ability to understand other computer programs (i.e. Property Management Systems)
Ability to apply concepts of math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and algebra, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
High School diploma or general education degree (GED). College Degree preferred
Six (6) months related experience in hospitality or service industry and two (3+) years related marketing experience
