I imagine you’ve probably read hundreds of job descriptions already. At some point, they all start to run together, don’t they? Hopefully, this one feels less painful.

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our Demand Generation marketing team at ArborXR. As a Marketing Manager, you will work directly with the Head of Demand Generation to plan, organize, and execute all inbound and outbound marketing initiatives.

The Marketing Manager will execute all operational activities, including planning conferences and events, assisting in cross-functional marketing projects, and managing the social media calendar to increase brand awareness on LinkedIn and other social media. This role will also handle also administration around our internal podcast production and content distribution.

This job isn’t just about doing administrative work. It’s about working with the marketing team to drive demand generation through content marketing, social media, sales enablement tools, events, and more. It’s about executing overall marketing campaigns that drive leads , with a focus on content distribution strategy .

Marketing Administration: Help drive results by coordinating inbound and outbound marketing initiatives. You’ll be in the driver’s seat executing events logistics, podcast production and promotion, the company social media calendar, and freelancers (when applicable).

Content Distribution: Content is king, and content distribution is the chariot. The goal of content distribution is to create, publish, remix/repurpose, and promote content through various media channels and formats. Your role? Promote and distribute. Manage the channels and places where our ideal customers are spending time and delivering content to them to raise awareness.

What might that look like?

You’ll spend time researching strategic industry events and planning all logistical details end-to-end. You’ll set the team up for maximum impact and lead regular discussions about the effectiveness of our projects and events. You’ll run point on any interview, presentation, or networking opportunity. You’ll manage our social media calendar, including helping write posts to promote content. You’ll work with the marketing team to focus on content distribution across all social media channels.

That’s the high level.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent administrative and communication skills, be able to work effectively in a remote team environment, and be committed to pursuing healthy, team-based relationships.

You should also be highly organized & able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines. Do you hate micromanagement? Good. So do we.

The ideal candidate is an eager learner, a self-starter, a problem solver, and is great at making plans to execute complex projects.

Overall, we are looking for an administrative superstar who is passionate about working with teams, and driving implementation and execution.

Responsibilities:

Events

Plan, organize, and manage participation in conferences, trade shows, promotional events, meetings, and presentations.

Research, identify, and schedule key events. Maintain pre- and post-show communication, as well as event attendance.

Submit event proposals and budgets to the COO and Head of Demand Generation for approval, including assembling requirements, developing task assignments and schedules, coordinating with outside consultants, creating mailing lists, and establishing new contacts.

Work with designers to ensure event sales and booth materials arrive on time and provide a plan for setup.

Coordinate and manage all event inventory, including booth displays and signs, event presentations, sales and marketing collateral, giveaways, customer swag, etc.

Coordinate event presentations, and networking opportunities. Help prepare talking points for any interviews.

Social Media Management

Maintain a monthly and quarterly social media calendar

Manage all social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn), including posting, commenting, customer inquiries, and engagement for ArborXR’s main accounts and any employee the company desires to elevate on social media.

Work collaboratively with the Head of Demand Generation with a focus on content distribution: remix/repurpose old content for new channels and existing social channels.

Write social media posts with the assistance of AI tools to post on current industry news items, content promotion (blog and podcast), industry developments, partner newsworthy announcements, and feature releases.

Research best practices for social media marketing and uncover new opportunities for content distribution and networking opportunities.

Manage company LinkedIn and co-founders; Provide structure to the posting schedule for co-founders, providing prompts and ideas.

Notify founders or sales of any conversations on social media with potential leads or decision-makers in other companies.

Project Coordination

Coordinate all logistics of the ArborXR “XR Industry Leaders” podcast.

Review the recording and make a note of any technical issues, select social media clips and major timestamps, and send them to an editor.

Assist with podcast page copy and assist with publishing podcasts to streaming platforms and social media

Regularly check in with team members across to ensure alignment on projects, due dates, and next steps, and provide support where needed to keep projects on track.

Act as a bridge between the marketing team and other departments. Ensure that inbound marketing requests are discussed, planned, and accounted for.

Report on the timelines of various projects, providing insight as to what occurred when off-track and creating a plan to avoid issues moving forward.

Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in project management, especially in the context of remote work.

Requirements:

2-3 years experience in administrative remote work

Proficiency in Asana preferred

Proficiency in Google Workspace products, specifically Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides

Experience in B2B preferred

Experience in trade-show/conference planning preferred

Experience in social media preferred
