About the Role
The Company, a well-recognized national cardiovascular health organization, is seeking a Senior Vice President / Senior Executive Director of Development to lead the Dallas market in achieving multimillion-dollar revenue and program goals. This senior leadership role is responsible for providing transformational leadership, strategic direction, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the market. The successful candidate will supervise and collaborate with staff, manage day-to-day campaign operations, and work alongside senior leadership to supervise financial management. They will also be tasked with developing and implementing fundraising strategies, securing financial support, and managing the market's budget with fiscal responsibility.Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, a minimum of eight years in fundraising or outside sales, and a proven track record of closing six-figure and up gifts. Additionally, a minimum of five years of management experience is required, with expertise in mentoring and developing staff. The role demands a strategic thinker who can translate strategies into measurable goals, delegate effectively through volunteers, and work in a dynamic environment with flexibility and adaptability. The position involves approximately 75% local travel, requiring access to reliable transportation at all times. The ideal candidate will be a relentless force for the mission of longer, healthier lives and will play a critical role in steering the market's goals and ensuring its sustainability and impact.
