This is an excellent opportunity, to join a best-in-class alternative asset fund administrator at Managing Director level, delivering the highest quality of service to our clients. The role sits within the Global Investor Services function, reporting directly to the Global Head of Investor Services.
Investor Services compromises of Compliance Services (investor AML/KYC, sanctions screening and related regulatory services) and Investor Relations.
The Investor Services Solutions, Managing Director will lead North America Investor Services and be responsible for all aspects of production service delivery, client billing, transformation and change control, product development as well as working in close partnership with GEN II Europe counterparts as part of our global operating model.
Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
Lead North America Investor Services with responsibility for day-to-day operational service delivery.
Identify opportunities to further enhance and expand the Investor Services product offering leveraging the latest technologies.
Lead Investor Services strategic change initiatives and transformation programs with a view to improving efficiency and eliminating manual processes.
Collaborate closely with GEN II Europe peers to design and implement a global operating model leveraging GEN II's international presence.
Keep abreast of industry and regulatory changes, identify impact to and opportunities for Investor Services.
Strengthen client relationships through direct interaction as well as partnering with Client Services and Relationship Management.
Ensure billing is done in a timely manner and in accordance with service agreements.
Lead prospect (new business) meetings on behalf of Investor Services and collaborate closely with Business Development on fee proposals.
Mentor, coach and develop direct reports and ensure best practices are applied consistently throughout the function.
Job Requirements, Skills, Education and Experience:
Highly motivated to join a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
10+ years relevant experience in Private Equity, Private Equity Fund Administration, or other financial institution where the candidate has gained PE financial products knowledge.
7+ years of team management, client management and project management experience within PE Investor Services.
Strong leadership skills and management skills.
Superior problem solving, judgement and decision-making skills.
Ability to think independently, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Very comfortable in understanding and navigating through Partnership Agreements, legal documents, and client contracts.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
The salary range for this position is $190,000 - $220,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate's experience level.
Work Arrangement
All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that all US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule, comprised of two (2) days a week in our office and three (3) days remotely.
