Summary

The Supply Chain Specialist will assist with global clinical trial supplies management. This role will interface with external parties to manage various supply chain activities, including packaging, labeling, shipment, inventory management, and drug returns. Additionally, they will support in achieving clinical supply department goals by timely, efficient, and accurate execution of supply chain activities.

Responsibilities: Areas that play to your strengths

Interact with internal and external customers and suppliers to support packaging, labeling, shipment, inventory management, and drug return logistical activities

Manage clinical supply documentation associated with assigned program

Use IWRS system for drug supply management activities

Work with functional head to coordinate communication with project teams and external parties

Track shipments, follow-up and escalate delays with appropriate team members

Monitor drug expiry, and depot/clinical site inventory on assigned studies

Monitor enrollment, drop-out rates and actual supply need on assigned studies

Support label text review for assigned studies

Support drug return and destruction of IMPs from sites to depots

Perform inventory checks and manage inventory levels on assigned studies

Manage temperature excursions during transportation on assigned studies

Review and analyze clinical supply data as directed

All other duties as assigned

Experience: Your areas of knowledge & expertise

Bachelors in scientific or supply chain or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an industry setting

Experience with GCP and GMP requirements is ideal. Understanding of clinical trials and drug development to support supply chain activities is preferred.

Experience in inventory management or supply chain management.

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Power Point, MS Project, Excel, and Microsoft Office. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

Great attention to detail and ability to manage time while working virtually.

Analytical thinking, fast learner, and ability to quickly grasp new concepts.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Analytical and can-do mindset to address challenges and implement solutions.

Work integrity and ethics suitable for startup environment, which require acquiring new skills, and managing multiple tasks.

Occasional travel may be required.

Demonstrated ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage priorities

Excellent attention to detail

The expected salary range for this is $85,000-$105,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This is a full-time remote position (40 hours/week). Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call work may be required as job duties demand. Occasional travel may be required.
