JOB DESCRIPTION

Dcode is looking for a passionate Director of Marketing who is just as obsessed with branding and our mission as we are. Dcode drives real success for our clients and our Director of Marketing will tell that story. As Marketing Director , you will work across the organization and closely with the C-suite to develop and execute Dcode’s marketing strategy to drive company-wide growth. You will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening Dcode’s stellar brand reputation, identifying and positioning Dcode as thought leaders in our segment, and leveraging the great work we are doing to provide sales enablement opportunities and lead generation. This role is cross cutting and critical to the growth of our business. It's fast paced and exciting!

Salary range: $127,500 - $160,000 plus bi-annual bonuses

Security clearance eligibility required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy

Develop and lead Dcode’s marketing strategy, creative direction, and execution to drive revenue growth and reputational value for Dcode

Set and measure clear marketing objectives that align with company-wide goals, working collaboratively with C-suite and business units

Measure the effectiveness of Dcode’s marketing efforts against business goals and course-correct as needed

Recommend resource allocation and investment areas to drive Dcode growth

Manage external resources and leverage the network to drive outcomes

Brand Awareness and Thought Leadership

Identify, assess, and secure media engagements, public speaking opportunities, and other thought leadership efforts for the company's key executives

Engage our community through newsletters, social, and events

Leverage the (amazing) work Dcode is doing for clients to develop content that can be used across many channels ensuring our story is consistent and clear

Build and execute events to drive awareness for target audiences and to strengthen the community

Put processes in place through collaboration across teams to drive brand consistency across across all marketing channels, sales collateral, and client deliverables

Drive effective digital marketing strategies aligned with our market (socal, SEO, web, etc.), resulting in growth

Sales Enablement

Provide sales with tools, content, and events that will increase deal speed and likeliness to close

Create targeted marketing campaigns that drive strategic leads

Identify places where marketing can help strengthen the relationship with current clients to grow relevancy in their organization and increase retention

Ensure marketing-driven leads are tracked and all deals in the funnel are nurtured

Qualifications

KEY SKILLS

You’ll learn something new every day in this role. We’ll teach you the ropes but ideal candidates will have:

5+ years of relevant work experience in the federal/public sector, preferably in the DoD innovation ecosystem

Proven effectiveness with PR/communications, digital marketing, demand/lead generation, sales enablement

Proven ability to tie marketing efforts directly to sales pipelines

Strong track record of working across organizations to find growth opportunities, specifically leveraging the resources internally

Strong track record of independently and proactively identifying bold and creative new initiatives and leading their implementation

Strong analytical skills to make data-driven business cases and strategies, pulling from CRMs and other marketing tools/data sources

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A desire and ability to work in an environment that is welcoming, open, transparent, curious, collaborative, fast, challenging, results-driven, and fun!
