Position Scope
SES LLC has an immediate opening position for a Network Security Engineer. The successful candidate will be a Network Security Engineer, responsible for maintaining SES’s network systems and other technologies in a business setting. They will have the knowledge and skills to help assist SES in resolving Information network issues and cyber security incidents, while having a proactive approach. The Network Security Engineer is expected to manage, configure, and troubleshoot the company’s network infrastructure and cyber security tools in all office locations.
The position will be a hybrid position and report to SES’s IT Manager and is based in Woburn, MA.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Networking
Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, VPNs, firewalls, switches, access points and other physical hardware.
Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected.
Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks.
Communicating networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users
Azure
Configure and maintain Azure Networks environment.
Configure and maintain site to site connections and VPN connections.
Configure and maintain security best practices in our Azure tenant.
Cyber Security
Monitor companies’ network and respond to any threats.
Take ownership of SentinelOne by configuring & maintaining our tenant policies.
Monitoring & responding to any alerts in SentinelOne.
Configure and manage our CheckPoint connect and email & collaboration tenant.
Assist in any cyber security incidents.
Other:
Works with System Administrators and IT Managers in planning, installation, and documentation of network topology.
Assist with other IT tasks as needed.
Requirements
The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrable ability to effectively manage multiple ongoing tasks, be comfortable with troubleshooting last-minute IT issues in a short amount of time. They must be able to work effectively in a highly skilled technical environment and have strong communication skills be able to balance independently resolving issues and work in a team.
Skills
Have experience configuring & maintaining the following:
Fortinet Firewalls
Cisco Meraki Firewalls, Switches, & Access Points
Dell SonicWall & Switches
Sanfor Firewalls, Switches, & Access Points
Proven skills in network engineering, operations, and performance analysis
Ability to test for, track, and resolve threats including malfunctions and attacks.
Infrastructure documentation and event reporting capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
Professional certification, such as CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP
3-4 years of experience in a network administration role.
Networking experience with (Meraki, Mikrotik, and Fortinet preferred)
Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts and computing infrastructures
Proven skills in network engineering, operations, and performance analysis
Previous experience managing and configuring SentinelOne.
Previous experience managing and configuring email security platforms (Abnomal, Proofpoint, CheckPoint)
Strong communication skills and thrives working in a team.
Proficient in spoken Korean (Preferred)
