Workday HRIS Implementation Specialist
San Jose, CA 95134 (Hybrid **Local candidates)
$50-60hr (Weekly pay + benefits)
9 month contract (Excellent potential for extension)
Full-time: M-F 8am-5pm (Onsite 3 days a week)

They are looking for an experienced Workday Specialist to join the People and Culture team. Reporting to the Sr. People & Culture Transformation Program Manager, you'll be responsible for:
What excites you:
•Demonstrate experience in Workday HR Business Processes, specifically in Absence Management
•Partner with Subject Matter Experts to complete multiple kinds of testing (e.g., unit testing, end-to-end testing, user experience testing, user acceptance testing) and report daily statistics on testing progress, tracking of defects logged and documentation.
•Partner with Subject Matter Experts to develop function-specific training materials and documentations.
•Collaborate with teams such as HR Business Partner, People Operations, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance, IT and others to provide support in testing, developing operations artifacts and creating training materials.
What excites us:
•Bachelor's degree or related experience
•4-10 yrs of Workday implementation and/or HCM experience.
•Experience in HR Workday Functional or Workday analyst and/or Workday administrator
•Experience to support multiple kinds of workday testing (unit testing, end-to-end testing, user experience testing, user acceptance testing)
•Experience to report testing progress, tracking and defects logged and documentation
•Experience to troubleshoot end-to-end and issues and conduct analysis.
•Requires Workday implementation experience in at least 1 Workday functional area specifically HCM, Talent and Performance, Time, or Absence modules. (preferably in Absence Management)
•General understanding of core HR duties
•Must have experience in support development and creation of training materials and documentations
•Good understanding of training and documentation development and other change management documentation
•PowerPoint and Google Sheets
•Intermediate Excel experience (manage large datasets and perform complex functions)
•Some experience in developing materials for executive leadership.
