Job Title: Senior IT Systems Administrator
Reports to: Director of Technology
Division: Retail
OVERVIEW
Lead and oversee IT projects and key responsibilities, ensuring the efficient handling of business-critical IT tasks. Identify and implement processes for enhanced efficiency, utilizing analytics and following the company's practices for continuous improvement. Leverage internal tools to monitor and optimize performance, contributing to departmental and company-wide growth through collaboration with internal and external partners. Nurture growth and develop colleagues in IT technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, owning their primary responsibilities, and also be able to work in collaborative settings.
Required Proficiencies:
ITIL, Incident/Change/Problem management practices
Microsoft Active Directory & Azure Active Directory (GPOs, DNS, DHCP, Print Services)
Exchange on-prem & Exchange Online Email
VMware (ESXi, vSphere)
PowerShell Scripting proficiency
Backup & Replication
Storage Area Network (SAN)
Perform server/system troubleshooting & administration tasks
Build, test, and maintain new servers & systems (Virtual & Physical)
Research event log
Assist in troubleshooting and identifying root causes
Provide technical escalation support
Perform routine/scheduled audits of all IT related systems
Strongly Preferred Proficiencies: SMTP Gateway/Filtering Technologies
Anti-Virus/EDR Technologies
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Moderately Preferred Proficiencies: Sharepoint
Wireless access point (WAP) management
LAN/WAN Networking
Linux system administration
Voice over IP
QUALIFICATIONS Professional IT Certifications (ex: MS 365 Suite/MCSA/MCSE, ITIL, PMP/PSM, CompTIA, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science or 5-8+ years equivalent proven IT work experience
Team player with a positive attitude
Efficient communicator, verbal and written
Able to lift at least 50 lbs
SALARY RANGE: $11 0,00 0.00-125 ,000.00 per year commensurate upon experience.
