DevSecOps Engineer

T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a DevSecOps Engineer to support the US Department of the Treasury TCloud enterprise cloud development effort. This effort aims to facilitate holistic multi-cloud solutions to meet the Department of Treasury's enterprise-wide infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, operate, and maintain resilient secure Cloud environments to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.

Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.

Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.

Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.

Support implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance.

Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.

Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Bachelors degree and five (5) years or more of related experience or Masters and three (3) or more years of related experience.

Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in 4 or more of the following areas:

Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban

Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence

CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)

CSPs including Azure, AWS, or OCI

Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm

Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)

Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Amulous, STIG scanner

Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation

Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow

Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures

Desired:

AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate or higher certification

Active Treasury clearance preferred

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $155,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
