DevSecOps Engineer

Washington, D.C., DC, United States

HarmonyTech is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support our client in the Federal financial regulatory environment. The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for the deployment and release management processes, setup of continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for all code and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in small agile groups to complete tasks on budget and within time parameters.

The position is available in Washington, DC, requires a Public Trust Clearance, and U.S. citizenship.

Required

Development experience in a Windows and/or Linux environment

Ability to create well-modularized, maintainable software and willing to follow group coding standards and design.

Possesses or quickly develops a comprehensive understanding of Government Information Security policies, regulations, and guidelines.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Ansible, GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, or comparable substitutes

Experience with software security, secure coding, or software assurance tools and techniques.

Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with one or more of the following database technologies: SQL, Oracle, MySQL, JBDC, NoSQL, etc.

Developing and performing automated builds, testing, and deployments

Developing high-quality technical documentation, as needed, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items, and supporting product training.

Preferred

Secure coding knowledge

Open-source tools management

SEI-CMMI and NIST experience

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field.

A minimum of 6 years of experience.
