Account Manager, Government Agencies- Mid Atlantic

As one of our Test & Measurement Sales Engineers/Account Managers, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and working closely with our existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. Your Tasks:

Understand customer needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz products can provide technical solutions

Effectively demonstrate and communicate how Rohde & Schwarz products can best solve the customers measurement/application problems

Grow the R&S market share and exceed quota

Develop and manage a strong sales funnel

Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements

Your Qualifications:

Must have U.S. citizenship

7+ years technical sales experience, preferably in test industry

An understanding of current electronic industry technologies (aerospace and defense technologies a plus)

The ideal candidate will have a passion for selling, an intense focus on customer service, and an overwhelming desire to succeed

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills

The ability to travel throughout the territory with some possible out of territory/ international travel

Account knowledge and experience in selling to US Government and/or Agencies is highly desired

This is a full-time position with a base salary range $137k- 230k plus commission & benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills
