Status: Full Time Exempt
Position Description:
Generate and maintain system documentation such as RMF Artifacts, Policies and SOPs.
Conduct and/or participate in Technical/Cyber meetings with organizational team members.
This position requires an understanding of IA to tactical networks, systems, security practices, and the application of IA concepts to rapid hardware/software prototype development.
Participates as a team member within the assessment of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the coordination, planning, analysis, development, implementation, and enhancement of information assurance programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
Assist in preparing briefing materials, supporting engineering and development meetings, coordinating security testing events, scheduling, and supporting teleconferences and video teleconferences and other administrative support tasks as directed.
Utilize or have familiarity with security-oriented tools such as HBSS, ACAS, and SIEMs (Splunk, OxBow, etc.) to provide reporting on compliance and patching levels.
Validate customer deliveries that assess, maintain, and continuously monitor the integrity and security of servers, computers, and network devices.
Utilize and apply strong understanding of Cyber Security systems and practices such as DISA STIG implementation, the Risk Management Framework process, and system hardening methodology.
Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and federal compliance requirements.
Ability to identify gaps & recommend controls, security perspective of on-premise & cloud technology.
Bachelors' degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
Experience using or validating monitoring tools such as HBSS, ACAS, SIEMs, and others.
Strong working knowledge of Cyber Security practices/procedures (DISA STIGs, RMF, eMASS, HBSS).
Familiarity with industry information assurance policies and procedures (NIST SP 800-171, 800-37, etc.).
Experience working both independently and as a team to accomplish short notice, high priority tasks directed by senior leadership.
Security Requirements: Candidates must possess an Active Secret Clearance or higher at the time of hire to be considered.
